"Okay! After mixing em up real good; you close your eyes and pick one off the top." Olivia pinched her eyes shut, and drew a card from the deck. Grinning, she held it up for the monster's inspection. "Is this your card?"

The monster's terrible mouth fell open.

"...How?" it whispered, Astonishment coloring it's gnarled face.

"It's just a trick"Olivia shrugged. She patted the card back into the deck. "Anybody can do it."

The monster tilted it's head, marveling at the child.

"Amazing..."

"Here watch, I'll show you how...." Olivia shuffled the deck, stacking the cards in three neat rows. Her pupil leaned in. Trilling as it watched in eager, anticipation.

Nothing special folks, Just some shameless fluff. Tablet doodle as always. :XD: I was going for a minimalist look with this. Kind of a German Expressionist style. (kind of) ;P

I Had a hard time balancing the image. Still not completely satisfied through.

Yeah, I realize I didn't color in Olivia's hair, but it helps with the heavy contrast. Looks better in my opinion.

enjoy!

The face of the the thing is pure AWESOME! And I must give a hooray for the background. First time I saw it, Matisse came to my head. Not sure why, cause I can't think of a painting of his with a bedroom; maybe I was thinking of l'"Atelier Rouge"; no idea really, but I must love that setting.

About the composition, well the red in the cards helps to focus on the girl. Not sure if I am one to talk—lol—but maybe just tilting all the scene counterclockwise could help. Just an idea.
